Developing Countries Young Author's Support Program

The IFAC Foundation supports young authors from developing countries to attend major IFAC conferences. These conferences are limited to the IFAC World Congresses and IFAC Symposia. Eligible for support are authors of accepted technical papers – citizens of a developing country/region not affiliated to or supported by an institution in a high income country/region – whose age will be less than 30 years during the conference. Only one author per paper can be supported. The support consists of a lump sum to help defray the cost of registration, accommodation and travel expenses related to the conference. A presentation of the paper at the conference by the winner is a requisite for support. Conference organizers seeking Young Author's support should apply to the Board of Directors of the Foundation.
